Lang and Lang Architects LLC. is a full service architectural firm headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. Established as a family practice by our current principals, the firm is run by father and son, who together bring over 60 years of combined experience to every project completed in the firm. Because our principals have the background and extensive experience in two complementary fields - architecture and structural engineering - Lang and Lang Architects is uniquely positioned to deliver the most efficient and integrated design.

With our architectural and structural experience and our business credentials, Lang and Lang is a true powerhouse capable of creating daring design that is also cost effective for our customer. Our principals and staff have worked on the projects spanning the globe. Regardless of where the project is located - from Moscow, Russia to Machu Picchu, Peru - our principals have delivered the same high quality design our Chicago clients are accustomed to seeing from our firm.

Our collaborative, inclusive approach to design has attracted a diverse clientele, which has enabled us to create a portfolio that includes rich building typology and enabled us to offer a wide variety of services. Still, our portfolio is growing, and we are continuously working on adding new services and building types.

As a teaching firm, Lang and Lang is aware of the new technologies and latest developments in the field, and is actively implementing these ideas both in the building design as well as in the design process.
